About Me

After initial training with Westminster Pastoral Foundation I qualified under Relate, the leading organisation specialising in couple work at the time. I then worked with them for twelve years before setting up in private practice in 1993.

In addition to membership of BACP and UKCP for over twenty five years, I have undertaken various additional in-depth trainings covering the specific areas listed.  My work has always been overseen regularly and anonymously by a qualified supervisor in line with BACP requirements.

I combine approaches derived from some of the main range of psychotherapeutic disciplines; Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural and Integrative.

These specialist skills, blended with considerable real life experience, enable me to work with clients confidently, and with empathy and warmth. They tell me they find me easy to talk to, friendly and attentive.

One of my aims is to help clients take more responsibility for their own lives in new ways so that they can fulfil their individual potential.

Confidentiality is an overriding consideration.
